Cosmetic Surgery Network

All that surgery made the blonde bombshell such an expert she became a one-woman cosmetic surgery advice industry for those seeking to improve their looks

Going public with my surgical results was never part of the plan. However, back in 1989 when I was really only just beginning my transformation, a friend who worked for a British national newspaper (Martin Dunn, then deputy editor of the Sun), convinced me to sell my story to his paper. I reluctantly agreed to do it because I could use the money to continue with operations I had planned. The paper syndicated the feature and it was reprinted all over the world. As a result, I was invited to appear on talk shows from here to Timbuktu. Then every time I had another operation I was interviewed by the press, and invited on more talk shows. Before I knew it I was famous.

From the first day that Sun article appeared I began getting letters from other patients asking for advice. By 1990 the enormous amount of mail I was receiving from all over the world prompted me to set up my organisation, the Cosmetic Surgery Network, whose primary aim is to demystify cosmetic surgery and empower patients with unbiased information. As the only organisation of its kind for those who were considering having - or had already had cosmetic surgery - it has proved extremely popular. Thousands of patients have contributed details of their varied cosmetic surgery experiences to my files over the years. I've met with a good deal of those patients personally and witnessed the varying results of countless procedures performed by hundreds of different surgeons.

Through the Cosmetic Surgery Network I continue to conduct ongoing in-depth research into cosmetic surgery and collate thousands of detailed case histories every year. I also personally undergo the procedures and report the results. No one else in the world does this.

My unique position allows me unprecedented access to difficult to acquire information, such as the benefits and risks of each procedure and what really works versus what's a complete waste of time and money.

For over 20 years I've been the first point of contact for a great number of public figures and celebrities whose looks and self-confidence are crucial to their careers, and also for many doctors and other medical professionals when they or their families want cosmetic surgery.

Cindy Jackson's Image and Cosmetic Surgery Secrets book

I put everything into a concise, fully illustrated book entitled Image and Cosmetic Surgery Secrets, where I sort fact from fiction and reveal the tried and tested keys to surgical success. The only "bottom line" publication available on the subject, it contains vital information amassed over the past decade and a half from my own in-depth research and the results of thousands of case histories reported to the Cosmetic Surgery Network.

Image and Cosmetic Surgery Secrets is the only book about cosmetic surgery that is printed in small quantities so new editions can come out several times a year. Books printed in bulk are often over a year old - and completely outdated - by the time they reach the bookstores. The very latest edition of Image and Cosmetic Surgery Secrets is available to order from this site.

More Case Histories

Disasters turned into victories

When the bandages came off, I was horrified... I got very depressed and was so self-conscious that I gave up my job and became a virtual recluse. I had two more operations but neither worked. I'd just about given up hope when I heard about The Cosmetic Surgery Network, an information organisation...I had a fourth operation this June, which finally worked.

The successful property consultant shudders as she recalls her nose nightmare. Six painful operations, £15,000 spent and such severe depression that she almost committed suicide... "Then I heard about Cindy Jackson, who runs the Cosmetic Surgery Network, an information organisation. She recommended a sixth operation. This was definitely a last-ditch attempt... Ten days before Christmas the plasters came off and at last I had the perfect nose. I wept, I was so happy.

Dreams turned into reality

Cindy has an incredible knowledge about cosmetic surgery. She overcame all odds to achieve her goals so I sent off for her information. (I thought: If she can, why can't I?) I will always be grateful to Cindy for sharing what she learned with women like me who want to improve their looks but don't have a clue how to go about it. I am absolutely thrilled with the results...Without the right guidance I could have been plain old Maureen Howard forever, or even worse, just another cosmetic surgery horror story.

Maureen Howard, a patient featured in the Sun newspaper

I used to feel cosmetic surgery was for image-obsessed stars, not ordinary women like me. Then, one night early in 1994, I was watching the Ruby Wax show when Cindy came on to talk about what she'd had done. Her new nose was exactly the sort I wanted. Eventually, I plucked up the courage to go and see her. I wanted her to convince me to have a nose job, but she said it had to be my decision. While we talked, I kept glancing at her nose. I was terrified of ending up with one of those Hollywood piggy buttons stuck on the end of my face, but Cindy looked completely natural. On the day of the operation, I was terrified. But two weeks later, when the plaster was removed, I knew the risk had been worth it.

I. Hayes, a patient featured in the Daily Telegraph

For 15 years this unexceptional man with a large nose watched his favourite film stars and dreamt about having the perfect features. And then he was told he could... with the help of a woman known as the Cosmetic Surgery Queen, Cindy Jackson. Cindy told him that with a little help from a cosmetic surgeon he could get Brad Pitt's nose, Johnny Depp's cheeks, Tom Cruise's eyes, George Clooney's lips, Russell Crowe's chin and Jude Law's teeth. And for six months she has guided him through the trauma of having serial cosmetic surgery that has sculpted every inch of his face and knocked a good decade off his age. The new Miles looks more like a boy band member than a 30-something divorcee from Stoke-on-Trent.

The results are amazing. "My mates thought I was totally vain before the surgery. Now they take me seriously after seeing the attention I get from women. Some of them are thinking about having something done."

I was in the sun a lot in my teens and 20s - that was my big mistake. I used to joke about my baggy old face but it really was no joke...I was like Miss Piggy. I didn't like my face getting fuller with age... The decision to have a face-lift wasn't such a dilemma after meeting Cindy Jackson, who runs the Cosmetic Surgery Network... Now I feel like I've got my original face back. It was definitely the best money I've ever spent."
